The software subscription comes first. Use Kenvio to run and evidence the work with your own competent people. Hands-on H&S support is optional — something you can add, never something you have to buy.
Health & Safety support and consultancy services are not included in the software subscription. Kenvio can be run entirely with your own competent people. Where there is a genuine gap in competence or capacity, Kenvio can provide support for the parts you agree — separately scoped, separately quoted, and never bundled as unlimited consultancy into the subscription — and the records land in your own platform either way.
Sound familiar?
What can be provided
Take the parts you cannot cover in-house. Nothing here is bundled into the software subscription — each is scoped and quoted separately.

Practical H&S support for SMEs without a full-time internal H&S manager — someone to call, within a written scope agreed in advance.

Delivered as H&S supportTraining & Competency Management
Training matrices, expiry monitoring, toolbox-talk programmes and competence records — so you know who is qualified to do what, today.
H&S support, recorded in KenvioOngoing Scoped Support
Regular support agreed in writing — document review, action follow-up and scheduled review meetings — quoted against the scope you choose.
H&S support, recorded in KenvioScoped, quoted, then delivered into your platform.
We do not sell H&S support as an off-the-shelf package, and we do not publish fixed consultancy prices. What you need depends on your sites, your team and your contracts — so we work it out with you first.
1. A conversation
We talk through your sites, your team, your contracts and where compliance actually hurts. No charge, and no obligation to buy anything.
2. A written scope
We set out exactly what we would take on, how often, and what we would not. Anything requiring specialist competence is named, not glossed over.
3. A quote against that scope
Priced against the work described, not an open-ended retainer. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted and agreed before it starts.
4. Delivered into your platform
The documents, records and evidence that come out of the engagement live in your own Kenvio account from day one.
What to expect on scope and price
- Health & Safety support and consultancy services are not included in the software subscription. They are quoted separately.
- Support is scoped to your operation after a discovery conversation. We do not publish fixed consultancy prices, because the honest answer depends on what you actually need.
- We do not offer unlimited consultancy, unlimited support calls or unlimited documents. Defined scope is how we keep the service deliverable and the price honest.
- Site visits are subject to location and are quoted as part of your agreed scope. Visits beyond that scope are quoted separately before they take place.
- Nothing in a support engagement transfers legal responsibility for health and safety, which remains with the duty holder.
What the platform does.
What people do.
We think you should know exactly which parts are software you subscribe to, and which parts are people you engage separately. Here is the split, honestly.
In your software subscription
Live in the platform today, on every tier.

- Method statements and combined RAMS packs
- Permits and permit templates, including hand-back with completion state
- Toolbox talks, delivery sessions and attendance records
- Competence requirements and evidence records with expiry dates
- Emergency arrangements with review and test dates
- Document control with expiry dates and bulk import
- Organisations, sites, projects, jobs and actions

Delivered by people, quoted separately
Only if you engage H&S support, and only within the scope you agree.
- Site inspections and compliance reviews
- Incident and near-miss investigation support
- Policy and management-system authoring
- Contractor onboarding, chasing and verification
- Training matrices and programme management
- Management reporting, compiled from your Kenvio records
- Advisory calls and management meetings
Where a workflow is not yet automated within Kenvio, H&S support can manage the agreed process with you and maintain the evidence that comes out of it, within the scope you agree. As the platform develops, more of these administrative workflows move into Kenvio — and your records come with them.
A note on Lucy. Lucy is the governed AI assistant built into Kenvio. She helps your people get a first draft of a risk assessment or method statement down faster. She does not give health and safety advice, she does not approve anything, and she does not act as your competent person. A competent person does.
Built around your sector
H&S support is aimed at contractor-heavy SMEs that need competent help but do not justify a full internal department. It is not a generalist service for every industry.
Why work with Kenvio
Sector-specific, not generalist
Construction, trades, property maintenance, retrofit, renewables, M&E and facilities — support shaped around contractor-heavy sectors and the realities of the work, not a generalist service learning your industry on your time.
The work lands in your platform, not our filing system
Support is delivered into your own Kenvio account, so the RAMS, permits, competence records and evidence stay yours. The software subscription and the support engagement are priced separately — if you stop the support, you keep the records and the platform.
We tell you what we are not
Where work needs specialist competence, we say so and bring in or refer you to an appropriately competent specialist. You will always know who is doing what.
Defined scope, not vague retainers
Every engagement is written down: what we will do, how often, and what sits outside it. You will know before you sign what is included and what is charged separately. We do not sell unlimited support.
What we do, and what we do not
Kenvio provides health, safety and compliance support within the competence of the people delivering it. We do not provide specialist advice outside that competence: where work requires it, we will tell you and either bring in or refer you to an appropriately competent specialist. We support you to meet your legal duties — we do not assume them. Under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 the duty holder remains responsible for health and safety in their business, and nothing we provide transfers that responsibility.
Outside our standard service
The following require specialist professional competence. They are not covered by an H&S support engagement, and they are not covered by the software subscription. We will identify where they apply and refer you to, or bring in, an appropriately competent specialist.
